A straightforward application through their portal is followed by a required three-part recorded video interview. This is then followed by interminable silence. I waited three weeks before reaching out politely to the regional HQ's e-mail. That note was left unanswered, so I waited four days and wrote again, truly just checking to see if they could share a status update on the search or my candidacy. No reply to that second note, either. So I withdrew the next day.
IMO, if you are going to require the extra time and vulnerability of your candidates to do a video interview, you are obliged to let them know if they're moving forward. It's also confusing to have e-mails reaching out about your candidacy ignored.
