The biggest issue is that the hiring manager told me he was going to make me an offer at the end of all the interview day. We even discussed general parameters for start date, salary range, etc. A week later HR "read" me a canned script telling me I would not be receiving an offer. I asked for an explanation and they repeated the canned response. I emailed and called the hiring manager, if for no other reason than to stay in touch, and have received no response. They haven't even paid my expenses. They also changed the interviewer slate several times and had me fly in after midnight and start interviewing at 7AM.
