Fairly simple. A few questions about yourself and experiences in teaching, and then a tutorial lesson to see how you teach and handle different students i.e attentive, distracted, etc. Overall, they are checking your ability to improvise

Question 1
What external factors could be driving the pupil’s behaviour?
I interviewed at The Tutor Trust (Manchester, England)
Interview
Was sent an interview guide ahead stating structure of the interview. This is split into scenario based questions and roleplay questions. For the former, these are some of the questions asked:
- What external factors could be driving the pupil’s behaviour?
- What did the tutor do well in this scenario?
- If you were the tutor, would you do anything differently?
For the roleplay section, I was given a specific question and asked to explain how I would teach it to a few students.
