Before the interview there were some English and IQ tests to do. Also had to write a sample article and come up with topics of interest. Interview was conducted over zoom with head of the department and HR.

It was carried out by the bosses of the team. One of them eventually ended up being my supervisor. They were friendly and professional. Before that they will ask to see writing samples etc.
