I received an email from a Senior Recruiter approximately 10 days after submitting my application online. The Recruiter asked to set up a time to speak and sent a calendar link to submit my availability. She noted that she would email me to confirm the time/date of the interview once I modified the calendar. I added 5 different time slots to the calendar and never heard back from the Recruiter.
After a few days passed, I went back into the calendar and added additional dates/times, assuming the times I initially submitted did not work with the Recruiter's schedule. A couple more days passed and again, I did not hear back.
I subsequently sent 2 follow-up emails, both of which were ignored.
I find it extremely unprofessional that a Senior Recruiter for the company would request an interview only to ignore the candidate for the next 3 weeks. If for any reason the company no longer wanted to move forward with the interview, they should at least have the courtesy to reply to emails stating so instead of blatantly ghosting applicants.
Extremely disappointing.
