It was a standard interview. Took a tour afterward and went over pay and benefits. I was given a verbal offer to begin working there and was told I would receive information later that evening to begin onboarding.
I waited two days and sent a follow-up email asking where the paperwork was.
I waited another two days and sent another follow-up and included my recruiter.
I went up to the center wondering what was going on. I briefly talked to the director and she told me she's been busy and would send me something later that evening.
That was the last communication I had with them. I sent a few more emails asking for next steps and never received a response.
During this situation, I missed out on a different job opportunity that had offered me a position and was responsive to my communications.
While I may be too close to the situation since it happened to me, I feel like this is highly unprofessional and would think twice before I applied there.
