I applied through other source. I interviewed at The Literacy Lab (Washington, DC) in Jun 2017
Interview
Initial phone screen, followed by in-person interview at the DC office. Phone screen was fairly basic background information. In the office, I was asked a few questions about the job and undertook a quick reading test (demonstration that I could listen for and catch errors in a passage read aloud by the interviewer).

Question 1
Many questions related to ability to manage living on the stipend - to be honest, it's a good thing that they stress this so heavily in the interview because this job pays at the poverty line.

The first interview was over the phone. They just ask you basic questions to get to know you and if they life you, they'll invite you for an in person interview in their office. There they'll ask more questions about your experience with children and they will have do a mock reading test that you will do weekly with your students.
