I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) in Aug 2013
Interview
I was called to schedule an interview. I first met with the general human resources team at the school and then I interviewed with the program director. This was a very easy and informal process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They basically asked all of the standard behavioral questions in the HR interview. The director just asked me to tell her a little bit about myself.
Had a personal connection with the chief of staff and just had a phone screening call with the hiring associate. Then got the rejection letter. They mentioned the interview process would entail 2-3 rounds where I'd meet directly with the director or VP of the division. But it seems like every department of JHU has different process
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online via the JHU website and was contacted by a department member to interview. I was given several times to choose from and I set up the interview via Skype. I was also given the names of those who would interview me. It was an audio only panel interview with several pre-determined questions for the position with time for questions at the end. It lasted about 45 minutes in all. I was told to expect to hear a decision by the following Friday, which I did not.
