Incredibly bizarre interview experience. I went in prepared, had a list of questions, everything you would expect. Firstly, I was a bit shocked to hop on a call and for it to be a surprise panel interview, but these things happen. They said that they didn't do formal questions and prefer conversation, but there were five of us on a Zoom call and they were just very poorly prepared. If I responded to a question, they couldn't think of any follow-up response, and I would try to jump in with a question, and they wouldn't know how to respond. Overall, this is the only genuinely negative interview experience I've had so far. Two of the other staff were very closed off and unwelcoming. If you aren't from Indiana, they make it clear that this is a disadvantage even if you have international experience. I hope they reform for their own sake and become more open.
