I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (San Luis Obispo, CA) in Jul 2012
Interview
Was called in for an interview after my application was reviewed. The person in charge of hiring was very nice. Interview went by easily. Just mostly behavioral questions and questions about past experiences. Like explaining a time when I had a lot of duties to perform, how I managed my time, etc. Everyone was very nice.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most difficult question was probably just how I would respond if I saw a cashier stealing money that had been working there a lot longer than me.
just a conversation with the HR team, asked the basic questions and nothing to stressful. they made the process very easy and the interview was actually truely with only one single person
5 minutes not even an interview just acceptance. I walked in and they said when can you start and if I can submit to a drug test and background check I said yes and left.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Corvallis, OR)
Interview
The interview process was a friendly and professional experience overall. The managers are nice and accommodating to students at least at this location as I was a current student at Oregon state university and needed to work around a college schedule.
