I applied online. I interviewed at The Farmlink Project (Sacramento, CA) in Aug 2021
Interview
Zoom call with other interns or those who had been interns in the past. Rather casual and not super serious or stressful. I would be prepared to be asked about you experience and what you are interested in specifically.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Farmlink Project (New York, NY)
Interview
I saw this position open in the summer, then close, then open again in the fall. I applied and was contacted within 3 weeks by an external recruiter. They described an extensive 9 round interview process, including a project where you had to create and present a fundraising campaign strategy.
It raised a red flag for me, and when I asked if there was any flexibility in this process they ghosted me. I see the position is open yet again.
Asking for free work on top of this many rounds and never hiring anyone for this long is not a good look.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Farmlink Project in Oct 2024
Interview
The process was pretty easy.
First, I received an initial Excel test, followed by and interview with the hiring manager, a non-profit accounting quiz, and two back to back interviews with sr staff members.

Question 1
I don't recall the exact phrasing, but they are interested in knowing how you work across departments.
