The interview process was a straight-forward casual conversation between the gym manager and myself. We discussed climbing background, previous experience in the industry, and general responsibilities for the position. The manager made it clear that pay was non-negotiable, and a raise would be based on an annual performance review, the amount/percent which was not elaborated further.
