The Children's Place Sales Associate/Assistant Manager interview questions

I walked into the store and asked for an application. I told the manager my friend told me there was a job opening, She then asked for the employees name. I then was asked if I could come back that day for an interview at 3. I agreed and came back at 3, I spoke to the 1st assistant manager, she then gave a 1:1 interview and told me the Store manager may want to talk to me today about the job. The store manager came to the back room did another 1:1 she said that they are not supposed to hire the same day but I got hired. It then took 2 weeks to come back and fill out my background check and tax information. I then sat in the back room reading a training book on the computer for 2 hours. and didn't start working for another week.
