Interview
I applied online and within a week I was called in for an interview. My time was set for 11:00am and like a good candidate I arrived 30 minutes early. I didn't mind the wait but I didn't get interviewed until nearly two hours later.
The hostess and server staff were very friendly and patient with me so it helped calmed my nerves. There were five guys ahead of me but they applied for the Kitchen and Server staff. They all got hired on the spot.
Which made me feel a little more nervous but I was able to calm myself down. The Hostess manager looked at me several times and he even walked past me when I said Hello. I was hoping that the other managers ( Kitchen and Server) would interview me because they were very pleasant and kept checking in on me.
Then the time came for my interview or lack thereof. The Hostess manager DID NOT make eye contact at all. He didn't even shake my hand! He acted like he had to interview me because I was there. He only asked me about my previous experience and told me to explain what I did at each job I had. I told him I was a former Culinary Arts student as well as a former hostess and banquet server. Once again he acted like he could care less.
Then he told me that they didn't have any open host positions at the moment but they probably will when the weather changes and they would call in several weeks. He got up and just went on about his business before I could even Thank him for wasting my time!
It was informal and casual. It was really laid back and they were looking to see social skills and ability to connect. Overall, one of the easiest interviews I've done.

Interview
I applied and the same day I received a phone interview. The phone interviewer liked me and told me to come in the next day for an interview. I came in the next day and had an initial first interview. We had a great conversation and she even recommended a different position that worked best for my personality. She wanted me for the job so she contacted the next interviewer. I waited a bit but I was so excited at the idea of working there that I didn't mind. Once he arrived I could tell he was in a foul mood. he didn't smile or even reach out to shake my hand and when I did reach out to shake his hand he said "oh" and finally shook it. I could he was very disinterested in me before the interview even started. He was slouching in his seat so much he kept stepping on my toes bearly even looking at me, barely asked me any questions, and there were long pauses where he just seemed not to care. It was a horrible experience and I may even stop eating there just to ensure I never run into that man.

Interview
Walk-in interviews 2-4 pm (only when they are looking to hire immediately), 3 interviews. Last interview is with the GM. They all last less than 10 minutes. Very easy and straight forward. They are mostly looking for personality and availability.
