I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Camden Center (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
There were 3 rounds of interviews, each one I was interviewed by 2 people. The first two went really well and the interviewers were friendly and approachable, but for the last interview it was supposed to be a one on one with the HR manager. Then another employee randomly decided to join the interview and she was very cold and unfriendly right away and seemed to have her mind made up from the start even before talking to me. It was pretty annoying and didn't seem fair, but it ended up being for the best since this company seems to have a culture geared towards only caring about rich people who can afford outrageous prices for treatment, whereas my career goal is to expand access to mental health rather than creating additional barriers for the populations who actually need this help the most.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Camden Center in Feb 2023
Interview
Applied online and was contacted to complete a 1 way interview. This seemed very odd, I had to record myself answering questions that they had for me. It definitely felt like they could care less about the process since they could not be bothered to schedule an actual 1 on 1 call. After submitting the prerecorded interview I was contacted about setting up 2 more zoom calls with 2 team members on each call, which was a little too much if you ask me. I went through the entire process and was asked for references and all! They called all my references and at the end they rejected me! I was extremely upset because my references went tout of there way to submit feedback and answer there questions and I did not receive an offer. I was so drained by the entire process since it took almost a month of zoom calls and going back and fourth between them asking for 5 references and getting them all to complete it. Overall I was extremely disappointed with the process and want to voice that you should not be contacting references if you have no intention of extending an offer, its a waste of peoples time.
The interview was very informative. It provided information of the history of the Camden center, along with information regarding what makes each role facilitate properly . Back ground information regarding the types of treatment and resources available to each patient.
