I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at The Body Shop (London, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
They had a sign up outside saying they were hiring, I went in with my CV.
A few days later I was called in for an interview, I was asked some questions about my previous jobs, some scenario questions about if I were on a shop floor and also asked about what my favourite beauty product was.
I was then asked to do a 20 minute work trial to see how I was on the shop floor (time ran over and I worked for about an hour. They didn't pay me for this.
