Tesla's hiring process for the Program Manager role in Amsterdam left me deeply disappointed. The manager's passive-aggressive and unfriendly behavior was disconcerting. Her dismissive communication and delayed responses made me feel undervalued. During the interview, their disinterest and negative attitude created an uncomfortable atmosphere.
Tesla should reevaluate their hiring practices to prioritize respectful communication and ensure a positive candidate experience. That made me feel I never want to buy a Tesla! My overall impression of the process was negative, cautioning others considering positions within the company.

The interview took a couple weeks, and the decisions were made a couple months later. First couple of interviews were phone calls with the recruiter and hiring manager, then a case study, presentation, followed by a day of panel interviews.

Pre-screening questions via email, screening call with recruiter, interview with hiring manager, panel interview (presentation, Q&A + 4 individual 30' interviews). The process took about 6 weeks. I was waiting to receive feedback from the panel interview when I noticed they had changed the job listing for the role I had applied to, requiring +3 yrs of experience more than in original listing. I reached out to the recruiter to follow up and received a generic rejection email the next morning.
