I applied online. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at Tesla in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was unnecessarily long (8 months).
It resulted to selecting my profile as the suitable candidate for the position, but never concluded to a job offer, due to lack of Executive Approval.
More specifically, I went through 2 1-on-1 interviews within a 1 month period of my application. Then, after a 3months waiting time, I was accepted to the final phase that took another 1-2 months, This included:
*another 7 1-on-1 interviews
*an online quiz
*a panel-interview for which I prepared a technical presentation of some of my previous work
After this proccess and an additional 1 month waiting period, I was informed that I had been accepted as a candidate and that I should soon recieve a job offer, after executive approval had been provided.
However, after a 2 months period, during which I was frequently communicating with the company but without recieving any substancial update, I was informed that the final decision was to not move forward with my application.
