I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla in Feb 2015
Interview
An employee referred me and gave my resume to the recruiting team. I then received an email that I would have a phone interview with a university recruiter. About a week later, I heard back and was told I would have an interview with 2 Inside Sales managers. They were in the same office, so I was on speaker phone.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Tesla (Zürich) in May 2023
Interview
1) brief call with the recruiter 2) call with a department lead, assessing the overall fit into the company and experience 3) call with the Hiring Manager discussing a business case + role-related knowledge 4) call with the organisation manager looking at values and fit into the company
Interview questions were standard, about strenghts and weaknesses. It was very informal and it felt like it was improvised on the spot. I first had an interview with the manager and then an interview with someone with the same role. They seemed to be in a rush to hire, because the entire procedure was done within 1 day.

Question 1
When was a time when you were faced with difficulties at your job and how did you handle it?
I went all the way up to the final interview with hiring manager and team then was ghosted. Never heard back.... not the professionalism I was hoping for even after I followed back via email to the recruiter.
