Interview
I only got a screening and then a skype interview. The interviewer never showed up. I had to reach out to reschedule then when I rescheduled, he was still late.
There was some what disorganized communication between the HR recruiter and the Hiring Manager. HR said interview will be over one set of topics. Hiring Manager interviewed over another set of unrelated topics.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA) in Aug 2024

Culture seems not really good after the layoff
Did not pass. Think I'm not good match. I'm not sure if they can easily find good match though with a Niche role
Took a test before the interview. Nothing crazy if you have done circuit design before. Everything is easy to look up as well so it seemed more just a filter for candidates who dont know much
