      Stock Assistant Interview

      14 Dec 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco

      Interview

Had read a lot of previous interview questions on here for similar jobs before. interview was straightforward, asked questions from a booklet and then interviewer wrote down my answers. questions asked were 1) a time you had a complaint from a customer and how you dealt with it. 2) A time you worked in a team 3) A time you worked under pressure 4) a time you changed your behavior from someone else. there were 2 interviewers both seemed chilled out. after interview i was placed at a cashier not on the tills but just by another employee to see how i was around with customers and other employees. will here back from them in a week

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

a time you had a complaint from a customer and how you dealt with it. Was thrown by this question as i didn't prepare for it at all due to not coming across it. my own fault i should have prepared more.

      Interview

Standard process of going into store and having a chat with the manager. Few questions that were to do with myself, the role and what I wanted to get out of it. Not too difficult

      Interview

I had to take an online test to get into the interview process. I passed the online questions and was given a confirmation email saying someone will get in touch with me shortly. After that maybe two days later, after I'd given my details someone rang me and asked me what date would be suitable for an interview, we spoke for a short while he seemed pleasant enough. Then when the day came, I walked to the customer services and they got in touch with the man who was interviewing me. He took me to a room asked me some questions then asked what days I was available etc. After that he passed me onto a girl who worked as a stock assistant and she showed me around and what she would be doing. Then I was passed onto the tills/cashier to watch the process. I think I was expected to help but when I asked the customers no one really wanted any.
