I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tesco in Sept 2016
Interview
Easy one to one interview the lady interviewing was very friendly and informal , I told her I was very nervous as this was my first interview in a long while, told me not to worry as most people who came for me interviews were and the ones that weren't , we're not really, interested in the job, asked about previous experience and asked to fill a form out detailing what hours I could work over various days
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Aberdeen, Scotland) in Feb 2018
Interview
Group interview. Six potential candidates in front of two managers. The managers would give hypothetical situations and ask the potential candidates how they would deal with it. How would past experience help with the situations that might crop up in this line of work.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Wadebridge, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
Pretty simple interview, checked in at the front desk, sat in the cafe for about 10 mins. There was me and one other girl. There was 2 people in the room interviewing, they asked us 2 questions each (same question for both of us). Afterwards we were set the task of building a tower as high as we could out of newspaper and include a flag with 3 colours. We were then asked questions about how we felt the exercise went. Were then taken out onto the shop floor and set the task of trying to get people to buy boxes of cherries. The whole interview probably lasted 30-40 mins?
