Terminix Information Security Analyst interview questions

Recruiter reached out about the position, saying they were seeking an individual they would be able to groom. I asked her about the hiring managers thoughts about why they wanted a candidate like that. She asked as to why, and I told her of my previous experiences involving no offers when they were “seeking” those individuals. The recruiter goes on to tell me that asking those questions really shows a lack of confidence and that they want a candidate who’s really “excited” about the position. She put a “pin” in the conversation and as she’s saying goodbye she’s telling me it’s not a “good look” and to show more confidence in the future. Absolutely ridiculous!
