My first interview took place on Dec. 3, 2025, and the fifth - the last, with the leader that this position will be supporting, took place on Dec. 20th, 2025, after a couple of reschedules. At the end of the interview, the leader mentioned that I'm one of the two finalists and I'll get an answer by Monday ( the interview was on Friday). I got an email a few weeks later, on January 5th, they chose the other candidate, but have another position open and asked if I would like to apply for it. I did. Another five rounds of interviews, the last one took place on February 2nd, 2026. On Feb. 16th I had an email from the Senior Talent Business partner: "we have an internal that has emerged that the team wants to put through the interview process, as a means of due diligence." Today, Feb. 24th. she emailed me the following:
"Hope all is well! I am meeting with the team later today, so will circle back with the final updates/feedback. Thank you for your immense patience!"
The recruiter is dragging their feet with an answer 3 weeks after the last interview. Even today, she told me about internal referral candidates. It's a disrespect to my time and efforts. I would not accept an offer from a company that treats candidates in such a manner.
