I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Tenaska (Omaha, NE) in May 2011
Interview
The interview consisted of an hour long phone interview and then they invite you to Omaha for a personal interview if they like you. The questions comprise of simple case studies, technical aspects of financial modeling, power industry and finally behavioral aspects. The interview seemed relatively simple and straightforward. I would like to comment on the way interviews were conducted over meals. These are not meet and greet, they are formal interviews (case studies and questions on career) while you have food in your mouth. So I would suggest eat and go before the meal. Also the interviewers seemed inexperienced and did not know what to evaluate or how. This in my opinion reflected on the quality of people.

IRR and comps analysis (this was as tough as they got)
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Tenaska (Omaha, NE) in Dec 2022
Interview
The process was very straightforward. I applied, a recruiter reached out and scheduled an interview, and we agreed on a time for an interview. I never heard back after the interview, which was the second time this has happened. It would have been nice to at least receive a rejection rather than just wondering.

Question 1
The questions were typical behavioral interview questions.
