Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was your most difficult situation you faced in the lab and how did you deal with it?
I applied online. I interviewed at Tempus AI (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process is completely rigid and siloed.
I interviewed for a role I was overqualified for, and when I asked about the (Sr.) Molecular RA role (which I applied to), I was dismissed without discussion. The company's screening criteria are fundamentally flawed. They are unable to see equivalent experience. This led an offer to interview for a "Tech 1" trainee position at $23.25/hr, a role typically for new graduates with a B.S., which is wildly inappropriate, given I have a Masters and 3 years of work experience.
