I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tejas Research & Engineering (The Woodlands, TX) in Nov 2014
Interview
Applied directly on their website, job was found on a general google search. Got a call from the CEO about the job, talked over the phone and at the end said he wanted me to come in for a visit. Interviewed with the CEO 1 on 1 and talked mostly about my work history and resume. 2nd interview was with testing lab manager and director of testing, talked about my credentials and resume. Major portion was them explaining what the job was and what was my daily expectations. They provided all the information, bad and good, about the job I was applying for. I was grateful they didn't just highlight the good stuff, they laid out all the issues that could arise and made sure I knew the job could be demanding at times.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tejas Research & Engineering (The Woodlands, TX)
Interview
I found Tejas through Kelly IT. I interviewed on a weekday evening after hours with only the lab manager. During the interview process, we discussed my level of application development andmethodologies. We also discussed my experience. Halfway through the interview, the lab manager at the time, who is now the ”director of technology" we started talking about problems with their current automation system set up and I proposed some solutions that would provide for a fully integrated automated solution. The lab manager seemed to like my solutions.
