I interviewed at Teemill (Freshwater, Isle of Wight, South East England, England)
Interview
The interview process consisted of five stages:
Initial recruitment call
In-person interview
Two days of unpaid work experience
Meeting with the line manager
Final meeting with the founder
It was a long process and wouldn't have been possible if I was in full time employment.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Teemill (Bristol, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
The process consisted of two initial interviews, each lasting about 30 / 40 minutes. During these conversations, I was asked about my professional experience, motivations for wanting to join Teemill, and how I believed I could contribute to the company’s goals. The final stage of the process was a work trial day at the head office on the Isle of Wight. This gave me the chance to understand Teemill's culture, experience what a day in the role would look like, and provided an opportunity to meet more of the team in person. Overall, the process felt thoughtfully structured. Alanna from the Talent Acquisition team was so helpful along the process, helping me to understand the expectations along the way, moving the process along smoothly and keeping things more transparent compared to other interview processes I've experienced.

Question 1
How would you balance / prioritise growing accounts for brands who are more engaged and those who are less engaged?
Thank you for sharing your experience of the interview process at Teemill — we’re really glad to hear it felt thoughtfully structured and transparent. We know that applying for a new role is a big decision, so we aim to make sure candidates have the chance to get to know us as much as we’re getting to know them.
It’s great to hear that the work trial day gave you a good sense of the team and the culture here — that’s such an important part of the process. We’ll also make sure to pass on your kind words to the Talent team.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re excited to have you on board!
