Invited to a graduate assesment day where an overview of the company was done with an introduction to a wide range of current staff across the company. Day was split into individual interviews and a generic non-technical problem solving group task based on a previous company problem.

Efficient. Two interviews at one time. Split into HR and Technical. HR representitive asking company fit/people experience. Engineering manager asking technical questions and about degree courses at university. 30 minute slot allocated. Engineering drawing provided and asked to explain certain aspects to judge thinking.

When have you worked in a interdisciplinary team scenario?
The interview process consists of two main stages. The first stage is a standard interview conducted by the HR team. This initial meeting focuses on getting to know the candidate, discussing their background, and assessing their general suitability for the role.
The second stage takes place at the company’s office and is more technical in nature. It includes a group presentation exercise designed to evaluate teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Following that, candidates are asked to complete a psychometric test within the next few days to further assess their cognitive abilities and behavioural traits.
