Interview process was smooth, I gave 1 interview. 1) Coding test(Python)-7 questions They just want to check the ability of candidate how candidate can handle new technology. 2)Technical Round-1(basic coding on java and basic java questions) 3)Technical Round 2(J2EE Question) 4)HR Round

Question 1
1) First they taken test in python coding. Given 7 codes--4 codes on pattern and 3 codes are on file handling and asked to complete at least 4-5. Given codes are in java and given some expected output so do some modification in that using python. they allow to use internet for that. 2. Technical Round- Find Duplicates from array and find even no using java8 features coding on any online compiler. throw vs throws, Arraylist vs Linkedlist, Basic java questions, Exception Handling, Collection vs Stream, functional interface, java 8 features

Vacancy was for Java developer and they asked questions in machine test was on Python. Why anyone looking for java developer job will prepare for Python pattern programs. When I ask them i don't much about python they simply replied" We want to know how fast you will learn new technologies". What the hell is this?
