I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tech Mahindra (Calcutta)
Interview
It was a walk-in for freshers in 2010. We had an Aptitude test, two technical rounds and a HR round.
I was good in apti but anyway the test paper was good.
It was pretty late hours and I was almost at the edge of my patience but managed to stay clam and cracked the interview.

Question 1
I had prior experience in a small farm so I was asked about my job role and day to activities in my previous employer. A few SQL queries were asked - types of keys, whether you can have a foreign key if there is no primary key defined in that table and some case scenarios where JOIN was required. A bit of UNIX was asked too. Some questions from Operating system. Details of the projects that I have done in college as well as in my earlier employment.
In the second technical round I was asked to explain Data structure e.g stack, queue and their pseudo codes. Then he asked structure, pointer, file handling, function overloading, overriding etc.
In HR round I was asked about my strength, weakness and other not to important stuffs.
it has 3 rounds…first 2 are telephonic rounds and for the third one you have to visit the office. They focus on your communication skills and also take mock calls to check how well you can handle the customer queries by providing a solution or an alternative
