The interview was a day-long assessment day with a number of different activities. It was during COVID 19, therefore it was run online. They were very good with access needs.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Teach First (Colchester, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
The interview process was relatively straightforward. You each had a one-to-one competency-based interview with a member of Teach First. In addition to this, everyone participated in a group case study exercise, had to deliver a short pre-prepared teaching demonstration, and self-evaluate their performance on both of these exercises.
Online interview over zoom which was fairly relaxed
Also had to prepare a presentation on a topic to give during the interview
There were also two roleplay sessions where the interviewer would pretend to be a student

Was successful at interview but it was all downhill from there. The recruitment team just messed me around from day one, I was required to send across my CRB information, Qualifications and CV etc, which I did instantly but the recruitment team spent 3 weeks emailing me saying this and that was missing when I had sent it across 3-4 times already. I finally received a congratulations email on a Thursday and 3 days later on Monday, they sent me an email saying they were unable to match me with a school and the deadline for schools had passed. Got my hopes up, messed me for weeks and then shot me down in 3 days.
