Simple Application Form Online Test - Its was alright Video Interview - 6 Questions - Basic Question about University and degree Course, Skills Assessment Centre - 1hour interview, 15min presentation &15 min of question & Group Task

Applied after finishing university, got a call for an interview slot, then sent email with information regarding the first interview. Interview was split into two parts. Part 1: 1 hour interview in two sections. (this would be an assessment centre with group interview normally, but mine was a video interview on Teams with two managers) First 10 min was me presenting on a topic that was given to me in an email before the interview itself. The rest of the interview was asking behavioural questions with some technical questions regarding IT systems. Part 2: Face to face 1 hour interview on site with the boss and one manager. First 5 min was asking about me personally and then the rest was all technical/behavioural questions such as what would you do if X happened or do you know what Y is. This part was really difficult, preperation is required or you will look really really stupid. Also asked questions about the company e.g. how do you feel about the environmental impact of the steel works? After this, given the job on the spot after the boss and manager had a discussion. Very difficult interview process but if you come prepared and do the necessary research, very possible to stand out and get the job.
