The selection process started with resume shortlisting based on academic performance and technical skill set. The technical interview focused on core subjects such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, and Manufacturing Processes. I was asked to explain my previous projects in detail, including design methodology, material selection, and analysis approach. Some application-based questions related to automotive systems, engine components, and production processes were also discussed. The panel evaluated my problem-solving ability, conceptual clarity, and understanding of practical engineering applications, followed by a brief HR interaction.
