I applied through university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Dec 2010
Interview
The interview process took me longer than it took my peers because I interviewed for a location that was in a different region of the US. Overall, the questions were often extremely general, so it really helped to think of specific things to talk about ahead of time. There was a somewhat leadership inventory/basic skills test that was online, and that wasn't too hard.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (East Lansing, MI) in Oct 2024
Interview
It was a very quick process. There was a phone call and emails prior to the interview, followed by more communication shortly after. It was a smooth and quick process. I really enjoyed it.

Question 1
They asked about previous leadership experience that I had.
easy - very conversational, one round and discussions with interviewer and recruiter, which was nice and felt at ease during the whole process; did a lot of research ahead of time

Interview
First I met with someone at a career fair and gave them my resume. It was awhile before I heard anything, but then I got an email to select and interview time with a store director. Shortly after that I got scheduled on a phone call with my recruiter and was extended an offer.
