I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2013
Interview
I applied online one Thursday night around midnight just out of curiosity and the next day around noon I received a phone call from them reviewing my application and scheduling a phone interview for the following Friday.
The phone interview was pretty basic, with questions such as weaknesses, strengths, tell me about a time....where u worked in a team, where u went above and beyond expectations basically all the ones already mentioned here. It was pretty easy since I knew what to expect and he was very nice. Then he said to wait for a call around Monday or Tuesday of the following week, which I did , scheduling yet another interview but this time in person. I arrived and had to take a test on their computers and then went up to be interviewed, where they showed me a video about target. Then they called me in ,the interviewer was very young and nice and made me feel welcome and the questions were really easy since they were the same ones from the phone interview. After that she told me to wait in the room where I watched the video to be called by the HR. The HR called me to her office where she just told me that I was hired and had to take a drug test within 24 hours.
overall it was a good experience but a long interview process

I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Miramar, FL) in Jun 2026
Interview
I answered 5 recorded interview questions and 1 Q&A. You get 2-3 mins to answer the 5 questions, and the Q&A has no time limit, it was surprisingly easy to prepare myself for.
