I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (McKinney, TX) in Apr 2011
Interview
I filled out the online application first as you must. I was then called about 2 weeks later with a request to schedule an in-person interview which I did promptly. I spent about 20 minutes answering the person's questions. They were very generic and didn't seem to be anything more than an in-person version of what I had already spent the time to enter online. At the end of the interview I thought I had done pretty well and would be a great candidate. However, I never got a call back or a follow-up anything. I was not impressed with the hiring process and felt like it was a waste of time. Perhaps it was my age? (40)... it seems they only hire either young people or really old people from whom I see working in the stores.
