Tanium maintains a rigid interview process, with my experience taking around five months from first contact to the offer of employment given. During which time I had six seperate video interviews, across the organisation. Interviews progressively got harder, not only technically, but just as importantly to Tanium, culturally. With my final Interview being with the current Executive Chairman and Co-founder of Tanium, being very focused on me being the right cultural fit for Tanium, and Tanium being the right fit for me.
Unfortunately I do not recall specific questions asked. However be prepared to discuss a wide range of technical questions across Operations and Security, basic and advance, as well as being able to adapt on the fly. The majority of the technical questions were asked during a technical panel, however compared to previous technical panels I have been apart of, no one was trying to "get you out", rather trying to gage your broader knowledge, and pinpoint your strengths, that could be beneficial to Tanium.
A demonstration of Tanium capabilities and homework was given early on, which gave the ability to be hands on with the product, and get a feel for what BAU would be in the TAM role. Hands down the most thorough, but ultimately, rewarding interview process of my career.
