I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Talladega College (Birmingham, AL) in Aug 2015
Interview
The committee seemed very argumentative and hostile. The questions were daunting, and at one point we ended up yelling at each other. I suspect the tension was because they don't offer health care benefits.

Interview
Easy. Questions were straight forward. There may have been 7-10 questions. Very simple and did not require a lot of thought. I had to take a spelling test on Word. She gave a list of words and you type them on a computer. Very unprofessional.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Talladega College (Talladega, AL) in Jan 2017
Interview
Very unorganized. 3 individuals in a dirty and unappealing room. None of them really had an idea of how they wanted to start the interview process so they just started with "is there anything you would like to say to start". Never really gave any detail about the position. Just asked random questions about my reasons for applying, what a typical day in that department would be like in my opinion and what I would do if someone asked me to do something that was not in the policy of the department.
Stay away from this place. Campus is run down, under funded and student body Is declining rapidly compared to other HBC's in AL. Student body is only around 600. This is less than most for profit colleges. Was glad I didn't get this job as it saved me from having to work in a dingy workplace for what I can only assume was low pay. They don't even offer 401k or direct deposit.
