I participated in two separate phone screens with two different recruiters for the same role. One mentioned the next steps would be an on-site interview, and that I would be contacted the following week. After a week of no contact, I reached out via phone call to touch base and received a response days later over a social media messenger stating that the role was filled. The next week I received an email (different recruiter) in the afternoon asking if I was available to chat via phone about next steps. After responding within 30 minutes of receiving the email, I was never contacted. This is the most unprofessional performance of a Talent Acquisition team I have ever experienced.
