I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (New York, NY) in Nov 2015
Interview
Process was simple, received an online link to do a virtual interview. A first for me. Simple yet stressful at the same time. But it is great that you don't have to commute to a location and sit and wait; all you have to do is prepare at your own convenience. Process takes about what was described, 15 mins. You have the ability to do sample questions but you only get one chance to record your answers for the question you receive for the actual interview. Your face and voice is recorded for viewing by the TJX team and you are unable to make any adjustments once you begin. You get to take a survey if you choose to at the end on the experience. As usual, you prep for your interview; know company history, current market, about your skills, hypothetical situations, past history but you never know what you will be asked until you are sitting in that chair. Good luck!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Salary requirements, how you work in fast pace environment, your skills & experiences. Basic typical interview questions. 6 questions but some of the 6 had double questions, so it's more like 8-10 questions if you break it down.
I first applied online, got an email asking to complete a virtual interview with 6 questions. After, I heard back HR to schedule an in person interview. She also sent an Excel sheet to complete before in person interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx in May 2023
Interview
When I interviewed for TJ Maxx in NYC, I was met with rude managers, who were very snobby, very "mean girls" vibes. The people who interviewed me didn't feel engaged or interested in interviewing me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TJ Maxx in Jan 2017
Interview
The first round of interviews is conducted through an app. The prep questions do not help in preparation for the real questions which threw me off completely and the fact that they do not allow a re-do or anything is quite tacky.

I don't remember the questions specifically but they were off topic.
