HR round followed by 1 hour technical discussion with 2 folks who are currently working in Brazil. Very annoying questions like deep dive on apis but not letting the candidate answer full API design and the engineering involved. History of APIs like who invented the restful apis, what is the difference between APIs then and now occasionally interrupting,saying they are done, they can no longer stand the explanation. sounded unprofessional. They had no idea of what the next steps were, they were not even the tech stack they were interviewing for. Either they were interviewing for a role that already froze or that was already fulfilled.

Question 1
Technical deep dive on API design but not letting complete design details.
Deep dive into history of API development and who invented APIs.
It was fine, they were nice. The interview was mostly conversational, and around the work environment. There were no technical questions on the first round. It was mostly around the offering of the position vs my experience.
First Internal Round 15 lasted 15 mins instead of 30. No further rounds conducted because of new client or what idk. Recruiter very rude and unprofessional. In fact I was kept waiting and then told to reschedule. 0 values.

Interview
The interview process was smooth, structured, and well communicated.
1. HR Call & Job Description
Initial HR discussion covering the role, responsibilities, and overall job description.
2. First Technical Round (India Team – ~1 hour)
Focused on frontend fundamentals including Vue.js, React, Next.js, and CSS. Discussion-based technical questions.
3. Second Technical + Coding Round (Europe Team – 2 Interviewers)
Combination of technical discussion, live coding, and fixing a small code snippet.
4. Third Round – Pure Coding (Europe Team)
DSA / Algorithms round with live coding and detailed explanation of the approach and logic.
5. Fourth Round – Managerial & Product Discussion
Discussion around managerial responsibilities, team expectations, product overview, and the type of work involved.
6. HR Round – Salary Discussion
Final discussion on compensation and offer details.
Result: Received the offer 🎉
Overall, the process was very smooth and professional. Nikita helped me a lot throughout the entire interview process, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
