      Journeyman Field Electrician Interview

      3 Dec 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TEAM Electric (Denver, CO) in Feb 2011

      Interview

After filling out an application, it was a single interview that took almost 2 hours. Code and skill questions ranged from use of the code book to memorization of lighting and power knowledge. Things that I didn't know and were taught, were then re-asked at the end of the interview. It was far more difficult than it sounds. Apparently you are only supposed to get 50% right. the more you get right the harder the questions get. The ending difficulty of the questions will determine your wage offer. Time in trade does not matter.
