Dear TE Talent Attraction Team,
Thank you for the update regarding my application for the Operations Manager I position (138858). While I appreciate your courtesy in responding, I am surprised by the decision — especially given my over 20 years of operations leadership, Lean Six Sigma expertise, and extensive experience in regulated manufacturing environments, all of which closely align with the role’s requirements.
I spent the past week tailoring my resume to highlight my suitability for this position, including relevant accomplishments in capacity planning, vendor management, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement. The connection between my background and the job description was strong.
Because I received the message on a Sunday afternoon and it did not specify that a hiring manager had reviewed my qualifications, I am concerned that my application may have been filtered out solely by an automated system or due to factors unrelated to my capability — possibly including assumptions about salary expectations or career stage.
I remain very interested in opportunities with TE Connectivity and would welcome the chance for my qualifications to be reviewed by a human decision-maker. If possible, I would appreciate feedback on whether my application was ever considered beyond the initial screening process, and how I might better ensure future submissions receive full consideration.
Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Disappointed Applicant
