TCSC SharePoint Administrator interview questions

The interviews on the telephone and in person were awesome -- I did exceptionally well, but TCSC chose to go around my references and call my old employers instead, whom did not give appropriate reviews of my past performance. One company which shall remain nameless was able to give reviews of my performance despite the fact they had laid off all of my former managers and supervisors shortly after I left the company. The result was I was not offered the job, because of THEIR responses.
