I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at T. Rowe Price (Baltimore, MD) in Aug 2013
Interview
Applied online via my school's career job board. Heard back few days later to come in for an interview. There were five interviews with three PMs, one trader and another analyst. The interviews were relaxed and very informal. No tough questions, mostly fit. I was asked weird and inappropriate questions by the trader though. Like, about my relationship status etc. When I asked him if how he felt about the company, he said that he hated it except for the benefits. Other than that one interviewer, everyone else seemed normal.
Transparent, fair, but quite meticulous and thorough process overall. People were all really nice but you have to know your stuff. Lots of focus on cultural fit as well as the stock pitch work
Very typical for the industry- first you fill in an online application form , if you are successful you get invited to attend a telefone interview and then another one, however, quite the whole process was quite slow

Question 1
Background, prior experience, motivation, company knowledge etc.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at T. Rowe Price (Baltimore, MD) in Aug 2017
Interview
Contacted by internal recruiter via linkedin. One week later, I had a 15 minute conversation with recruiter going over the basics (role, comp, experience, Baltimore, etc.). 2 weeks later, I had a phone interview with hiring manager. Very behavioral and mostly about previous experience - nothing technical. Week later, got a rejection email from recruiter with feedback that I didn't have enough of the niche experience they were looking for.
