I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Manchester, England) in Jun 2012
Interview
I applied for the job through handing in my CV in-store. I was contacted with details of a recruitment evening where many potential employees met up and performed various team-building exercises and the more prominent people were selected. I was assigned to a store that was convenient for me on a contract that was negotiable in terms of hours.

Question 1
A role-playing exercise where we were expected to calm down a situation involving a return and an angry "customer".
Group interview then individual interview. It was easy. They asked questions and wrote it down on a white board. Individual interview was asked a tough situation ive been in and the solution.
Easy, they just want to see that your availability is good and you can follow instructions. Don’t talk about your degree or any corporate experience they reject people for being overqualified
