Kind of disappointed in the interview process with this company. One of their recruiters reached out to me and asked if I was available on the job market and if I want to hear about what they had in stored, that they had a whole bunch of clients and positions with the programming language I used. I was ecstatic, So I spoke to the recruiter for about a half hour and didn’t hear from her in literally four months, till she reached out and said she was sorry that some how I slipped they the cracks and she was sorry but her director “just wanted to be prepared to discuss your background in detail when he followed up this afternoon.” Spoke to the gent and didn’t hear from him after that. He did say they were looking for a senior dev and that now that they have one they can bring me on to that company. I just followed up because I randomly saw something that reminded me and after two months to talking to him, four months for the recruiter before she says that they don’t have any senior devs and are looking for more. so I see it kind of disrespectful to be told two different story and on top of that unprofessional with the whole process with keeping me in the loop. you’re just another person to them and get treated like a number
Communication goes a long way and teaching your colleagues to and employees to have the common courtesy and ethical decency to show transparency on what’s going on would be great. This happens way too much with companies that recruit and honesty this is the straw that broke the camels back
