I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
Took an online assessment test with capital markets questions. 23 questions in 25 minutes. Test wasn't too hard, but you cannot go back to previous questions or skip questions. Some are multiple choice, some are not, so answer correctly vs answering quickly. Advanced to HR first round interview and got dinged. HR asked me to pitch a stock and guess it wasn't good enough... Not an unreasonable question to ask, but I wasn't prepared for it as much as I should've been since I was expecting that question with the senior ER Analyst on round 2, not with HR. I did well on the pitch for someone with almost no preparation, but obviously that's probably not going to be enough. The HR was pretty blunt, not personable, and borderline rude. No brain teaser questions for me. At the end of the interview, I asked good questions about the firm to which she had 0 clue for all of them. Kept telling me that she only worked there for 3 years and that she doesn't know. If you advance past HR, you'll speak with the senior analyst. If senior analyst likes you, then you advance to the super day in-office containing a math test and meeting with MDs. Good luck
5 online rounds + onsite superday. Extremely long process, over 2 months from the first round to a decision. 1st round: 25 timed MC questions with probability and market questions. 2nd: 30 min phone call with technical recruiter who asked for a stock pitch and a few market-focused probability questions. 3rd: back-to-back zoom interviews with the ADoR and DoR, mainly about fit and behavioral. 4th: 30 mins with the Senior Analyst some behavioral and another pitch. 5th: 2 HR timed model test and 3 days to do a case study. 6th: in person super day in the NYC office, 3.5 hours of back-to-back interviews. Rejected a month after the superday, I had to reach out to them for an update when they probably knew the moment I left the building.

Question 1
Pitch me a stock. A stock trades at $20, there is a 70% chance the stock has a positive event and goes to $30. What is the fair value of a $23 call option that expires after the event?

Interview
Very long with more steps than any other shop. My biggest issue is the lack of feedback and varying response time. They also aren't very considerate with timing. For example, I received an email at 4PM one day asking me to write a stock pitch and submit it by 5PM the next day. Fortunately I was able to, but that could have been difficult if I was unable to take time off work or was traveling. Similarly, I was told I'd hear back soon but didn't hear back for 7 weeks despite emailing multiple times asking for a status update.

Interview
Applied directly through their website and heard back within 3 days. Next was a quant assessment online consisting of a little over 20 questions that had to be done in a certain time.
