I applied online and was called for an in-person interview within 2 weeks. The interview was scheduled at a convenient time. I met with the Resident Chef and the interview covered basic information about me, my experience, and why I wanted to work at Sur la Table.

Very laid back interview, only a couple of questions were asked and the rest of the time I just had a fun conversation with the hiring manager. It felt more like a chat with a friend rather than an interview.

there was a brief phone interview then they asked me to come in for an in person interview and tour of the kitchen. they asked general interview questions and did not require any prior experience to be interviewed.
